FUN FILLED FRIDAY!!!!!!

Another FFF is here! I will admit I am cheating a bit on this one, BUT I have a good reason I swear:) My DH is having surgery today and I have been so busy with trying to get stuff done around the house before he is out of commission for a few weeks. Well, this week I challenged Jen to make a masculine card. Lucky for I had made one at Shackapalooza for Father's day. So, here it is! What do you think?

To make this card I stamped the image on plain white card stock and colored it with prismacolor pencils blended with oms. Next I outlined the recliner with a grey marker and used chalk to color the background. Then I punched it out using a square scallop punch and inked the edges with grey chalk ink. Next, I matted it on grey card stock using the next size up of the square scallop punches and inked that with grey chalk ink. Then I cut a piece pattern paper 4"x5.25". and tore the bottom corner of it. Then I inked all the way around the pattern paper. Then I put a grey piece of paper behind it, and stamped "to wish you a". Next I added a silver square brad in the upper right corner, then glued that on my A2 card base. Then I glued the recliner image on the card using pop-dots. I also stamped on the inside "Happy Father's Day!"

Supplies : stamps - recliner by A Muse, "to wish you a" by Stampendous, "happy father's day" by Stampabilities; pattern paper - K & Co. Brookfield Vintage Diamonds; card stock - grey by Bazzill, black by Archivers; ink - black by Versa Fine, charcol by Colorbox chalk inks; eyelet by Bazzill, chalk, grey Zig brushable marker, atg gun, pop dots.

I remember this one! It fits this challenge perfectly! Still think you did a great job on it. I love that ripped corner. I need to "rip" more often.
