Pop up card

Sorry this post is going to be short and sweet. I have had a crazy week! I think life should be slowing down a bit in the next couple weeks and I have some fun in store for all my Blog readers. It just seems like there is not enough time in the day lately. On with this weeks FFF challenge.

This was a fun challenge. I will admit I had to do a little taping so I could get a good picture of my pop up card. I was still in a Fall mood so hope you like the colors. I used more of my Target Dollar Spot paper:) Here is a picture of it closed. I like that it folds flat.

Here it is when it's popped up

And here is a close up of the image and sentiment.

To make this card I used the tutorial from Splitcoaststampers. In case you aren't familiar with it I used the SU! Happy Harmony set for the sentiment and image. I heat embossed them in gold. The leaf paper was from the Target paper pack and so was the striped paper, and the ribbon. I added some primas and brads to the front of the "box" area.

Thanks for stopping by hope you enjoyed our pop-up cards this week. Make sure you check out Jen's card.
Did you make a pop up card. If so I would love to see it! Please post a link in the comments.

Have a wonderful weekend.
Happy Crafting,
Kimmy

Oh gosh! That is a gorgeous card! I didn't get to make one, but my daughter made me a b-day card with a little pop up thing in the center. I should take a picture.
