Bleach - not just for cleaning!

Happy FFF everyone. Sorry this post is a little late in the afternoon I got to bed pretty late last night and had a ton of running around to do this morning. Well let me know what you think of how I used the bleach technique.



To make this card I first stamped the cat image with embossing ink then embossed it with black embossing powder. Next I used bleach and a paint brush to paint in the whole image. I then colored over the eyes with green prismacolor pencil and the yarn with orange prismacolor pencil. Then I took the paper towel I had my bleach on and tapped it all over a piece of orange cardstock. (this actually created a really neat background) I then cut the cat image and layered it on the orange paper I dabbed the bleach on. Then I matted that on copper shimmer paper. I then cut the pattern paper to 4"x5.25" and wrapped a piece of brown ribbon around the lower portion of the card. I next added my fish brads to the ribbon. Then I added my double matted image to the center of the card and glued the whole piece to the orange A2 card base.
